Dec 2013: Castlefield Christmas markets are the best in Manchester for three reasons. They're indoors, they have the best local stall holders and thirdly, you don't have to pay £6 for a German sausage. Merry Christmas!

Market: Gin&Tonic Vintage Fashion Fair, Terrace Bar, Northern Quarter, Saturday 2 November, 1pm-6pm
If, like me, you find yourself regularly wandering listlessly around our city’s creative hub spouting at anyone who will listen: ‘You know what I just cannot find in Northern Quarter… Vintage stuff”, then you’ll be delighted to hear that the girls at Gin&Tonic Vintage Fashion Fair have this predicament sorted on the first Saturday of each month, having carted back to Manchester as much vintage clobber as they could from some of the world’s fashion capitals.
Entry is free and G&T stock both men’s and women’s attire – the best bit is, unlike most ‘vintage’ wear, G&Ts gear doesn’t smell like a forty year old digestive biscuit.

They were the most vintage pair the firing squad had ever seen. Still, a job's a job
Oct 2013 - Manchester hosted the Vogue Fashion Night. It was a night we won't forget in a hurry, G&T got the seal of approval from some well known faces too.
October 2013 - Our 5th G&T Market @Terrace was the best yet, just keeps getting better. Cool clothes and the best customers keep us sweet.
September 2013 - We had our very first exclusive pop up shop at the legendary Font bar in Manchester, along with a nice feature in CityLife Magazine....
Sept2013 - One half of G&T spent time exploring the glorious city of Barcelona and picked up some sassy vintage pieces along the way. In the area of El Raval we stumbled across this little gem of a boutique.
August 2013 - we took on the Manchester suburbs at the Levenshulme Market, never a dull moment in Levenshulme.
August 2013 - the superb Castlefield Market in full swing, it's a winner of a market. Here's a peek at our pop up shop...
August 2013 - we flirted with the Cheshire Set at the Juntion 16 music festival, our pop up shop looked tip top.
